SUBRISO, a predominantly farming community in the New Edubiase constituency, have given the strongest assurance of leading the charge to return the NPP Parliamentary candidate, who was their Member of Parliament between 2016 and 2020, back to power in the December elections.
The community, who voted against the NPP Parliamentary candidate, George Boahen Oduro, in 2016 say they were deceived through the many propaganda of the NDC to think that the NPP was not in for their interests.
Regrettably stating what their actions have caused them, residents of SUBRISO told reporters that the current NDC Member of Parliament presented himself to them as an Angel, but, ever since they voted for him, his actions towards them has been nothing short of development retardation.
Nana Aba Odoom, a seamstress, and her four friends, Justin, Oduro Michael Baaba, and Eshun who are chop bar operators claimed, all the projects which were started by George Oduro, have stalled with no explanation from the NDC MP.
They cited the construction of a community centre, a police station, among others as some of the things then NPP MP started, which have been deliberately abandoned by the incumbent NDC MP.
This came to light when the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, took his constituency tour to the New Edubiase constituency, on Friday.
To the constituents, they will not shoot themselves in the foot this time around as they are awaken to the tricks and deceitful posture of the NDC.
During a Durbar of Chiefs and People of SUBRISO, Hon George Oduro explained to the people that, their votes against him in 2020, was a divine one which God wanted to show the sharp distinction between the NPP and the NDC.
Addressing the Durbar, Chairman Wontumi took time to explain into detail, all the policies of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, asserting that these remain the only policies that will promote the welfare of the people in the country.
Chairman Wontumi particularly urged the people of SUBRISO to lead the NPP’s quest to reclaim the Parliamentary seat for George Boahen Oduro.
