Doctors are recommending an urgent surgery to remove blood clots developed in the head of the student who was brutally attacked by the bodyguards of former President John Mahama at the Christian Service University (CSU).
The Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Paul Yandoh, disclosed on the Wontumi Morning Show that he has seen a copy of the doctor’s report and it doesn’t bode well for the Nana Boakye- a TESCON Organiser at CSU.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Paul Yandoh slammed Mr. Mahama for going mute on the matter and not showing concern.
According to him, instead of bringing development to the Ashanti region, Mr. Mahama doesn’t do that but rather, promote violence in the area.
“Mahama won’t bring development to Ashanti region but would rather come over and encourage his body guards to beat people. Doctor’s report show that there is blood clot in his head (Nana Boakye) and he needs an immediate surgery”, he said.
Mr. Yandoh also questioned the Inspector General of Police and the Ashanti regional Police Commander, for being mute on the matter.
Background
Nana Boakye, a TESCON Organiser at the university, was manhandled for chiming that Mr. Mahama is a “liar” and would “lose” the impending the 2024.
In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on the Wontumi Morning Show, Nana Boakye stated that as part of their school’s 50th Anniversary, former President Mahama was invited to deliver to speech.
But the former president used the opportunity given him to mock vice President Bawumia which didn’t sit well with some of the NPP members seated in the auditorium.
Mr. Mahama is reported by Nana Boakye to have said that Ghana isn’t a “concert party” nation to be given to a “comedian” an inference he threw at Bawumia.
“He made a sign to mock Bawumia so I also stood up and said he is lair and would lose again”, Nana Boakye described how he instantly responded to former President John Mahama.
This forced an aide of the former president to attack Nana Boakye by slapping him in the presence of his boss who deliberately ignored what he was seeing.
