Stay Healthy —- Asabeee Tells Party Members.

 

Leading aspirant in the upcoming National chairmanship race of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon Stephen Asamoah Boateng says it is important for all persons to live healthy lives.

He particularly challenged the youth to lead healthy lives so that they could be more productive before they grow old.

Speaking to this reporter after participating in the Youth Network and Fitness Walk in Aburi on Easter Monday, Hon Boateng said body exercises as well as good eating habits are secrets to having healthy bodies.

“I am over 60 years but the strength and energy I wield are a combination of God’s grace and a healthy lifestyle and it is no wonder I appear fitter than all who are contesting with me in the upcoming national elections”, Hon Asabeee noted.

CHARGE:
Asabeee, as the National Chairman hopeful is known by NPP faithful therefore charged the youth to include in their schedules some hours of constant training and body exercises.

He also urged them to refrain from foods that have the potential of getting them fatty and overweight.

Hon Boateng said a fair balance of good food including vegetables as well as fruits and body exercises in addition profit very much.

“The human body functions very well when we eat good food,  engage in frequent body exercises as well as carry out the drinking of water at regular intervals”, Hon Asabeee stated.

AEROBICS:
Hon Asabeee who was joined by many youth in the 15km walk also took part in the aerobics session at a vigorous pace and fashion.

He advised the youth to make body exercises a pattern of their lives if they are to live and function in healthier conditions.

“We can function properly as national executives when we stay fit and healthy because the job at hand is not eating and sleeping as some of have that mindset”, Asabeee stated.

Other famous but youthful elements in the NPP such as Sammi Awuku, outgoing national organiser of the NPP, Ekow Essuman, counsel to the President and Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua, Chief Executive Officer for Youth Employment Agency (YEA) all joined Asabeee in the walk and the aerobics session.
