On May 6, 2023, the Asantehene will join monarchs and global leaders to attend the Coronation of Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort in London.
A statement signed and copied to Wontumionline.com by the Chief of Staff, Kofi Badu, revealed that Otumfuo Asantehene will be received by King Charles in a private meeting at Buckingham Palace.
“His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has been invited to attend the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort in London on Saturday, May 6, 2023. He will be accompanied by Lady Julia”, a part of the statement read.
