The ongoing public feud between dancehall musician Stonebwoy and rapper Sarkodie has taken another turn after Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town, released screenshots of a private WhatsApp conversation to challenge claims made by Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy had alleged that Sarkodie’s camp reached out to his team about a possible collaboration and joint performance at the 2025 edition of his BHIMFest concert.
In a series of social media posts amid the latest back-and-forth between the two musicians, Stonebwoy sought to clarify that he was not the one who had been pursuing a collaboration with Sarkodie, insisting that it was the rapper who had made the calls.
“What could you possibly owe me. When you’re the one who calls me as you have clearly indicated,” Stonebwoy wrote.
He went on to reference an incident surrounding the 2025 BHIMFest at the stadium, claiming that Angel Town had contacted his manager, Chief Stylzz, about Sarkodie’s team performing at the event.
“Doing shows together has never been a problem irrespective of who called. My last BHIMFEST at the stadium Angel called chief that y’all wanted to come through I didn’t disagree,” Stonebwoy said.

However, Angel Town has disputed Stonebwoy’s account of the particular engagement, arguing that the facts should be presented accurately since his name had been directly mentioned.
In response, Sarkodie’s manager said he had no issue contacting Stonebwoy or his team when necessary but maintained that this specific situation was different and should not be misrepresented.
“Only because my name has actually been mentioned now let me just do the needful and set the record straight… I’ll reach out any day regardless if need be, I don’t mind that at all but in this context just state facts… don’t lie on my name,” he said.
Angel Town subsequently shared screenshots of his private WhatsApp exchange with Stonebwoy’s manager, Chief Stylzz, apparently to support his version of events.
The conversation, as shared by Angel Town, appears to show Chief Stylzz initiating discussions about possible dates for the two artistes to appear together.
“Anyways… 24th be good for you? Make u pass thru and we do same 25th as well,” Stonebwoy’s manager wrote in the conversation.
Angel Town then responded to the proposed arrangement, raising concerns about the timing while indicating that he was still willing to come.
“Ok mk I have the conversation quick. My only concern be how e only be the next day nu cos Edo aaa pressure de come inside but I de come.”
