The Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi has described Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, as a disgrace and someone who is deliberately undermining the Constitution of Ghana.
The Asante Akim North MP in an interview on Wontumi TV, stated that despite the Speaker of Parliament having a law background, “He wants to undermine our constitutional arrangement, he recent comments proves it.”
According to the seasoned legislator, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, visited Parliament yesterday to listen to the concerns of both the majority and minority MPs and input their concerns in the budget.
However, Speaker Alban Bagbin drove the Finance Minister out of the chamber, a move Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi describes as “not good”.
