The thought of having Prof. Nanaa Jane Opoku-Agyemang become Vice President of Ghana, has scared the Bono regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party who has lamented that she is too shallow to be given an opportunity to climb that ladder in life.
Kwame Baffoe has labelled the 2020 running mate to former President John Dramani Mahama a “THING” who did nothing to promote education in Ghana as a former Education Minister.
The NPP Chairman in a monologue on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show, stated that it beats his imagination that Prof. Nanaa Jane Opoku-Agyemang would bastardize the progress the Akufo-Addo led government has brought to the education by alleging that the children passed by cheating.
“God forbid, this thing would have been Ghana’s Vice President. Just listen to what she is saying, telling the children who passed that they cheated to make it. You were education minister when 72% of the children failed their examination”, Abronye pointed out.
He also attacked Prof. Nanaa Jane Opoku-Agyemang by stating that under her watch as Education Minister, former President John Mahama failed to pay feeding grants to various schools.
“Under John Mahama, feeding grants were not paid. 83 SHSs delayed reopening due to lack of feeding grant”, Abronye said.
Abronye said to make things worse, Prof. Nanaa Jane Opoku-Agyemang even introduced water and light bills to school going children aside taking school fees from them.
