Shai-Osudoku : Elephant To Trample Upon The Umbrella As NPP Gets Ready To Grab The Parliamentary Seat- DCE
The District Chief Executive of Shai-Osudoku in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Daniel Teye Akuffo, has re-emphasized that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is poised to deliver a resounding victory in the December polls.
According to Mr. Teye Akuffo, he, as well as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, and the party executives in the area are making frantic efforts to unseat the NDC candidate.
He said that, the area has been the stronghold of the NDC since 1992.
He noted that, for the 28 years that the NDC has occupied the area’s Parliamentary seat, Shai-Osudoku has not seen much improvement in development.
Demonstrating his achievements on Wontumi Radio/TV on the Election 2020 programme, the Shai-Osudoku DCE told Oheneba Nana Asiedu, that “for the first time in history we will deliver the seat for NPP.”
Hon. Teye Akuffo revealed that, in 2016 the current MP for the area won with over 20,000 votes while the NPP PC had only 6,500 votes.
However, the Shai-Osudoku DCE said that, the NPP has about 11,000 votes gap to close but not scary because the work that Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP PC have done in the are is enough for them to snatch the seat.
“This time round Shai-Osudoku will change. Most of the electorate have declared their support for the NPP.” He said
