SDA Church Ordained To Decide 2024 Elections – Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka Wontumi, has appealed to the Seventh Day Adventist Church to lead the charge in making Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the next President of Ghana in the December elections.

According to Wontumi, the SDA church and its members have key roles to play, especially, with December 7th, falling on Saturday- a worship day for the church, adding that God has ordained the SDA church to decide this year’s elections for Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking at the Mampongten SDA CHURCH, on Friday, as part of his constituency campaign tour, Chairman Wontumi intimated that it is not by chance that the election will be held on Saturday.

In his view, it is a devine coincidence and a manifestation of God’s perfect plan for the good people of Ghana, hence, making the election day fall on a day, which God has made sacred.

Explaining further, Wontumi said, the SDA church will be the church to make Bawumia President by honouring their sacred worship day on December 7th and voting for the Vice President.

“Dr Bawumia will be President of Ghana with the help and support of the SDA church” he observed, assuring that the party will forever be grateful to the church at all times.

The church, in response to the call by the Regional Chairman, led a prayer session for the team.
They prayed to God to grant the request of the NPP.

The Regional chairman is on a regional campaign tour to the various constituencies, in effort to sell the policies of the party and its flagbearer, Dr Bawumia to constituents.

He is on the tour with other party leadership including: Beatrice Owusu, Regional Campaign Team Member, Andy Owusu, Political Aide to Chairman Wontumi, George Opoku Amponsah, Spokesperson for Wontumi, Kwaku Atta Sarpong, Deputy Reg. Organiser and others.

The party’s Parliamentary candidate, Onyina Acheampong Kwasi Gyamfi, and his executives, led the party chairman to visit various markets in the constituency.
