Sam Pyne Pledges To Restore Kumasi To Its Former Glory
The new Mayor for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Samuel Pyne has made a solemn pledge to bring back Kumasi to its former status.
Sam Pyne admitted that a huge task has been placed on him as the new Kumasi Mayor, but with hard work, determination and assistance from stakeholders, he will tell a success story at the end of his tenure.
In his speech monitored by Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw after securing an overwhelming endorsement, he further pledged that he will work to actualize the vision of President Akufo-Addo and Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
“My doors are opened to constructive criticisms and positive suggestions,” Sam Pyne affirmed.
He, however, lavished praises on the Assembly Members for the overwhelming votes.
Sam Pyne polled 55 out of the 58 votes cast representing 94.8%
Thus, 55 YES and 3 NO votes were recorded.
