Sam George To Lose Primaries For Fighting LGBTQI – Nigel Gaisie
Leading Prophet Nigel Gaisie of the Prophetic Hill Chapel has said that the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram will lose his seat.
According to him, his fight against the LGBTQI+ community will hamper his chances to maintain his seat in Parliament because they will fight him with their resources.
Nigel Gaisie was speaking on Accra-based Angel FM when he made this known.
“The Primaries that they will be going, Sam George will lose because of his fight against LGBTQI+. I’ve seen it three times and I want to tell someone to inform him about it,” he told Kofi Adomah.
Adding that “Sam George should be very careful, he’s a great young man and very bold. How many young men are this bold? I saw that he had put his hand on his head crying that he has lost his seat. In the primaries, they will make sure he does not win. If I were the NDC I would have made him go unopposed.
Sam George is leading seven other colleague lawmakers to sponsor the Anti LGBTQI+ bill which will criminalize the activities of persons involved in LGBTQI+ and its related activities.
The Ningo Prampram lawmaker has been at the receiving end of attacks from persons who support LGBTQI+ and are fighting for the rights of persons engaged in the act.
Meanwhile, the Christian Community, Traditional leaders and the Muslim community have thrown their weight behind Sam George and his colleagues and have called on Parliament to as a matter of urgency pass the bill into law.
