Sakawa Boys Comment: John Mahama Has Lost Respect, Has Nothing To Utter- Popular Chief

“Which Sakawa is more than Airbus, Ford, SADA, Saglime and likes? You reared guinea fowls to reate jobs yet when Ghanaians found no such venture in existence, you said they had migrated to Burkina Faso, is that not Sakawa?”

Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II who raised these issues questioned the moral authority of John Mahama to make the derogatory comment that denigrated the people of Akyem with inference that , “they are scammers and with a President who is not fit to rule because of old age.”

“The way they portrayed Nana Addo and the youth as Sakawa Boys and Mafia is disparaging.” He charged.

Nana Oteatuoso who was participating in Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on Monday morning, said that, it is no big deal if John Mahama tells Akans that, they are Sakawa.

“Nobody should be worried. Because Sakawa and Akyem mafias don’t represent votes.” He said

According to Nana Oteatuoso, John Mahama has lost respect and dignity and has nothing good to tell Ghanaians.

He indicated that, the flagbearer of the NDC has nothing better to offer the country because of his past record.

“We will grant him the necessary respect because he is a former President but If he crosses the border line before the elections, he would be very busy.” Nana Oteatuoso cautioned John Mahama

The staunch NPP supporter insisted that, Ghanaians unduly suffered a prolonged Dumsor predicament and with hindsight the Counsel of State has even hailed Nana Addo’s achievements saying they are ecstatic Nana Akufo-Addo is the President in this era.

He predicted that, the vote difference between Nana Addo and his opponent would be more than what was acquired in 2016.

Nana Oteatuoso re-emphasized that, Ghanaians are not ingrates. They don’t have short memory. Rather they are focused and ready to exercise their franchise for Nana Akufo-Addo to do more.
