Saglemi: Don’t Allow The Fake Fans Get Inside Your Head- Nsenkyire Warns Collins Dauda

With the rot surrounding the Saglemi housing project, Mr. Kwabena Nsenkyire has predicted that in the near future Collins Dauda could thrown in the cooler.

The Ashanti regional 1st Vice of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), warned the Member of Parliament for Asutifi South not get carried away by the fake support some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are showing him.

According to him “they are just fooling him” knowing very well that when he is jailed he will be in prison alone.

Former Minister for Works and Housing, Collins Dauda has been charged with criminal offenses by the Attorney General’s Office in connection to the Saglemi housing project.

Statement of offence captured in a writ filed at the High Court and available  to Wontumionline.com, accuses the former minister together with Kwaku Agyeman-Mensah, Alhaji Ziblim Yakubu, Andrew Clocanas and Nouvi Tetteh Angelo of intentionally misapplying public property contrary to section 1(2) of the Public Property Protection Act, 1997, (SMCD) 140.

The second offence states that the group willfully caused financial loss to the Republic contrary to section 179 A(3)(a) of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).

The particulars of offence, blamed Alhaji Collins Dauda of intentionally misapplying the sum of $200,000,000 belonging to the Government of Ghana which was approved by Parliament of Ghana for the payment housing units under the Saglemi Affordable Housing Project.

Hon. Freda Akosua Prempeh in an exclusive interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.comsurprisingly revealed that $200million meant for the construction of houses at Saglemi, were squandered by the government of John Dramani Mahama.

According to the deputy minister who is also the Member of Parliament for Tano North constituency, “without recourse to parliament they (Mahama’s government) reduced the scope of work from 5000 to 1506 houses pegging the cost at the same $200 million” and added that they even went further to reduce it to “1204 houses”.
