Miss Ruth Osei, Manso Adubia NPP Women’s Organiser last week facilitated the surgery of a 14 year old lady at the Christian Service University College (CSUC).
The young lady had a tumor in the right breast and was suspected to become full blown breast cancer disease if treatment was delayed.
Doctors at the facility spent hours to operate on the young lady and have successfully removed the tumor.
At the time of going to press, the doctors were monitoring the recovery of the young lady whose identity is under wraps for security reasons.

Speaking to this reporter moments after the surgery, Miss Osei thanked the MP for the area who is also Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo for sponsoring the surgery.
She noted that the lady was diagnosed with a breast condition at a recent breast cancer outreach programme she organised for the people in her constituency.
Upon series of diagnosis and treatment, Miss Osei said doctors recommended a special surgery to take out the tumor.
“I wholeheartedly commend doctors and nurses who conducted this surgery and ask the public to report problems they find in the breasts as soon as they see something unusual in same”, the Women’s Organiser noted.
BACKGROUND:
At a receent breast screening exercise by the NPP Women’s Organiser and her wing, 18 suspected cases of breast cancer disease were recorded.
Out of these, 17 cases were deemed to be serious and needed urgent attention.
The MP of Manso Adubia, Yaw Frimpong Addo having heard the issue decided to sponsor the first urgent case.
The Women’s Organiser is therefore calling on well-meaning residents, institutions and individuals to help the remaining 17 persons to undergo similar surgeries to repair the problems they may have in same.
