Criminals in Ghana have graduated from simply using motorbikes to the stage of fixing sirens in their powerful cars, the former Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah has revealed.
The former MP in an interview on Wontumi TV stated that he has picked up intel that as a way to escape the eyes of security agents, criminals have adopted the strategy of fixing sirens on their cars to make it easier for them commit crimes.
According to Mr. Owusu Amankwah, the criminals “mostly use motor bikes for their operations but I am told some have graduated and have started installing sirens on their expensive cars”.
He therefore called on the law enforcement agencies to step up their game by developing strategies and gathering intelligence to combat crime.
He also advised officers of the Ghana Police Service to always be a step ahead of criminals and not the other way round.
