A respected Islamic leader and a political figure, Chairman Kofi Owusu Omar, has revealed that Rex Omar is under a severe curse for composing his ‘Abiba’ song.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Kofi Owusu Omar stated that Rex Omar, who is a known sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress, used a Muslim name to promote his promiscuous lifestyle which a haram in their religion.
Rex Omar is famed for composing the ‘Abiba’ tune’, a song that talks about flirting with a Muslim lady.
“We have cursed him. You can ask any Muslim. Why Abiba?…Abiba is a Muslim name and he used our name to compose a foolish song. I don’t listen to music but if you attack Muslims, I will come to you. God has punished him and he has been cursed and you can ask any Muslim.”
Chairman Omar continued that “why didn’t he use any other religious name for his song? He used our religion to promote his promiscuous lifestyle”.
