Resetting Ghana Means, Scrapping Free SHS, Other Pro-poor Policies – Wontumi Explains

The Ashanti regional chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has revealed that, it is the intention of former president John Mahama to collapse the economy when he secures victory on December 7 elections.

According to the chairman, Mr. Mahama’s plan is to revoke all policies president Akufo-Addo initiated.

This revelation follows the 2024 Manifesto launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), held at Winneba on 24th August, 2024.

Speaking on the manifesto launch, he alleged that the title ‘Resetting Ghana, Jobs, Accountability, and Prosperity’, is a ploy to collapse our economy.

“Mahama’s resetting the economy is just to collapse it. Does he even comprehend the meaning of reset? This shows that he is going to collapse the economy.

We all have mobile phones and computers, if you are resetting them, you lose all your files so Mahama is definitely going to collapse free SHS, revoke Agenda 111,and other policies Akufo-Addo’s administration implemented ” He explained.

He further said NDC’s decision not to sign the peace pact will not mar the elections.
