Dr. George Domfe has predicted based on his research that Cheddar will get more votes than Alan Kyeremanten in the upcoming 2024 general election.
The Development Economist who is also a senior Research fellow at the Centre for Social Policy Studies of the University of Ghana, stated that the combined votes of the two presidential candidates, will reduce that of the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate- Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
“The two put together is 6%. If Bawumia could get their numbers, it will be one touch victory for him. Those following Cheddar and Alan are voters who voted for NPP in 2016 and 2020”, he asserted.
Speaking to Gordon Asare Bediako on Movement TV’s political analyst show BE KYERE MU Show, Dr. Domfe stated that per his research, Cheddar who represents the New Force Movement and Alan Kyeremanten of the Movement for Change, are doing well in the Ashanti region.
“When the 16 regions are runoff to a whole number, Cheddar got zero in all region with the exception of Ashanti and Greater Accra”.
He continued that “nationally, he is commanding 3.8 %.”
Cheddar, according to him has the youth on his side. “The youth are following him”, he said.
On the part of Mr. Alan Kyeremanten, Dr. Domfe explained that he “got zero (0) in all the other regions except Ashanti and Central region where he has a combined 2.6%.”
