According to Nana Oteatuoso who was contributing to a panel discussion on Wontumi Radio/TV, the NDC flagbearer ‘s “false alarm exposes his hypocrisy because he is the same man who once said that the NDC are the leading party when it comes to violence, therefore for this same man to have the guts to talk about insecurity in Akufo-Addo’s government is, is amazing.”
Nana Oteatuoso noted that, his understanding of a state of insecurity is “when the contents of leaked tape with a voice suspected to be that of the NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo threatening that the NDC will make the ‘country ungovernable …”
Nana Oteatuoso said that, what he understands about Insecurity is about the alleged leaked tape by the NDC Chairman, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo to make the ‘country ungovernable by the NPP , intimidate and kidnap women.’
“There is no intimidation in the country. If there is, Ofosu Ampofo and Asiedu Nketiah oul not have been able to attend a funeral in Brong Ahafo and return safely.”
The Akyem Royal said that, no government in history can be compared to that of Akufo-Addo’s in terms of providing the security agencies with the needed weapons, vehicles and other logistics which are key to making the personnel more effective in the discharged of their duties.
He indicated that, if John Mahama would try to create the impression that President Akufo-Addo has given guns to some people to create an atmosphere of insecurity in the country then the former President has some questions to answer.
He chastised that, if John Mahama is making such comments then it presupposes that he provided the deadly weapons for the assassination of all the prominent persons who died in his era.
Nana Oteatuoso made reference to a number of high profile murders in the country during the tenure of John Mahama. They include, manager of Kwaw Kese Hiplife artiste, who was shot and killed; Nkwanta DCE, Peter Kojo Kenyenso who was also shot dead in his house and the Abuakwa North MP, J. B.Danquah, who was cruelly murdered in his home.”.
The NPP Sympathizer added that, a Peace FM reporter, George Abanga was also shot dead on his motorbike after reporting a case on cocoa smuggling in John Mahama’s regime. In Shai Osu Doku, a renowned Chief was also shot dead”
