Redevelopment Of Central Market: Local Government Ministry Impressed With Work Done So Far
The Local Government Decentralisation and Rural Development Ministry says it is impressed with the work done so far on phase 2 of the redevelopment of the Central Market in Kumasi.
According to the Deputy Minister for the Ministry Hon. Collins Ntim, the quality and the knowledge behind the construction of the market is massive.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV he said, the challenge of the contractor is to get enough space to accommodate more containers.
But Hon. Collins Ntim said that some patriotic Ghanaians have joined hands to construct about 1,400 lockable stores for the traders to evacuate the area.
He commended them for the good gestures with a remark that “this shows we have some good people in Ashanti Region who wants the Region to develop.”
