Rally Behind Party After Polls — Essel-Mills To NPP Members.

Michael Essel-Mills, aspiring constituency secretary for Nhyiaeso has urged New Patriotic Party (NPP) members in the country to rally behind winners and the party after next weekend’s constituency executive elections.

He reminded members that the larger interest of the party far outweighs any individual’s personal interest.

Speaking to this reporter during the Easter Holidays, Mr Essel-Mills said election outcomes are unpredictable but one would either win or lose.

“These two outcomes should engage the minds of all contesting candidates so that no matter what happens on voting day they can consciously resolve to forge ahead in unity for the sake of the party”, Essel-Mills posited.

DETAILS:
Mr Mills said what makes defeat in elections worrisome is the committal of resource, time and effort in same.

However, he reckoned that losers as well as winners should bear in mind that all they do are investments into the party they profess love for.

The aspiring secretary also urged contesting candidates to conduct themselves in manners that will facilitate unity in the party after the next week polls.

“The churning of insults as well as backbiting and all manners of slander would be difficult to heal after next week polls and therefore must be shelved by colleague contesting aspirants”, Essel-Mills intimated.

CONFIDENCE:
The aspiring constituency secretary expressed hopes of winning the position he is contesting for.

He mentioned the work he had done over the years in the constituency as basis for his optimism.

He, however, noted his decision to reach out more to the rank and file of the party so as to learn of their challenges.

“As the Chief administrator of the party in the constituency I pledge to do more of what I have been doing when elected again so that issues demanding official attention and resolution as well as training are done in swift manners in the Nhyiaeso constituency”, the famous aspirant stressed.
