Radio Stations Closure: Worse Happened In Your Era- Obiri Boahen Roasts Mahama

The Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has descended heavily on John Mahama for stating to close pro NPP radio stations.

According to him, the worse things happened under the regime of John Mahama.

“As a lawyer and a politician when I heard John Mahama saying that I laughed out loud and shook my head. If I was in my youthful days, I would have drunk alcohol to his statement,” he said on the ‘State of Ghana’ Political Show.

According to Lawyer Obiri Boahen, President Akufo-Addo has not shut down any radio station as being claimed by Mahama.

“If a radio station does not pay its bills and the SSNIT of employees, it breaches the law and NCA will close the station,” he said.

The NPP Deputy General Secretary fumed that, John Mahama is a former President so he should not descend into the gutter.
