Krachi west municipal Assembly has presented valuable items to people living with disabilities, PWDs at Krachi.
The items presented were based on specific requests the PWDs made to enhance their livelihood.
The items included chest Freezers, sowing Machines, stationaries and other items that will add value to their lives.
The MCE for Krachi West, Hon. Emmanuel Kajal Jalula assured the PWDs that the assembly will support them to make their lives better.
He said there would be periodic visits to the beneficiaries to ensure that the items given were in use to make informed decisions as the go forward.
He also adviced the beneficiaries to use the items wisely and not to sell them.
Mr Jalula further noted that the government, through the District, will continue to support the poor, marginalised, street children and PWD’s to make life comfortable for them.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to the media were thankful to the Assembly and promised to make judicious use of the items to support themselves and their families.
