Prominent Chiefs Acknowldgement Of Nana Addo’s Achievements Is Justifiable – Popular Akyem Royal
Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng has insisted that some prominent chiefs like Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin are witnesses to the landmark achievements of President Akufo-Addo hence their positive comments about him.
According to him it is not surprising that Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin openly declared that “Nana Akufo-Addo has exceeded all expectations.“
“Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin didn’t just wake up to make that comment. He knows what’s happening on the ground for the benefit of all Ghanaians.” He told the host, Nana Konadu Abu Pra, when he appeared on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show on Monday.
“Because of the good works Otumfuo has asked Nana Akufo-Addo to ensure that his appointees consistently explain the government’s achievements to Ghanaians.” He noted
He emphasized that, President Akufo-Addo didn’t influence the chiefs to make those complimentary remarks.
“They did so willingly because they know what is at stake and are hopeful that Ghanaians will give him
Four more years to continue his good works.”
According to Nana Oteatuoso, a clear distinction can be made of NanaAddo’s achievements within the context of social interventions policies and infrastructural projects from John Mahama’s so -called welfare policies..
The Akyem Royal referred to a biblical quote which translates as, “The tree that bears fruit deserves t o be nurtured while the one which is barren should be cut off. “
According to him, “John Mahama, is like the Biblical tree that can’t bear any fruit so Ghanaians should cut him off.”
” One can imagine the burden that would have been imposed on Nananom had there been no Free SHS. But fortunately, this has been absorbed by Nana Addo’s government and coupled with the Dumsor menace which has also been done away with they would have been in real difficult times.”” He bemoaned
Nana Oteatuoso affirmed that, because of the numerous infrastructural projects and the relief Akufo-Addo has given to Ghanaians through the social intervention programmes there is no way John Mahama can be President of the Republic again.
