The Assemblyman for Prestea Himan in the Prestea Huni valley District of the Western Region, Hon. Alex Baakoh a.k.a Nana Aboroso, constructed a recreational centre (Community center) for his electoral area using his own FUNDS
The gesture formed part of a campaign promise the Honourable Assembly man made to his people.
Explaining his motive to Ofori Boateng Samuel of Wontumi news reporter at his residence, Hon Baakoh said that a heavy downpour disrupted one of his campaign tours at Kwasi Koko during which he made a firm commitment to avoid any such occurrence in future.
The people of the community expressed their appreciation to Nana Aboroso, for project.
Hon Baakoh has also funded the construction of a three-unit Classroom block equipped with marker boards to enhance teaching and learning and a health facility.
He has also funded a market renovation project as well as the provision of mechanical water pipe, and the re-shaping some of road in the Hinman electoral area.
