Presidential Jet Saga: Does Ablakwa Go To North Tongu By Passenger Bus? Paul Yandoh Quizzes

Group petitions GRA to chase Okudzeto Ablakwa over ‘unpaid taxes’

An ardent communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Kwabena Yandoh, has queried Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa if he travels to his constituency by passenger bus either than his luxury V8.

The question to the Member of Parliament for North Tongu was aimed to put to rest the hypocrisy being exhibited by the legislator on issues surrounding the use of the ‘faulty’ presidential jet by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Honourable Ablakwa said in a Facebook post on Wednesday September 7 that “I disclose with absolute certainty and without fear of contradiction that a few days before President Akufo-Addo’s current travel to The Netherlands and France, Ghana’s Presidential Jet — the Falcon 900EX was on Tuesday August 30, 2022 flown non-stop to France for a flight time of 6hours and 24minutes from Accra.”

But speaking on Wontumi TV’s State of Ghana show, Mr. Yandoh stated that Hon. Ablakwa is trying to use the topic to be more popular but cautioned him to be mindful about the way he was going about it since it has repercussions ahead.

He sought to know if Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa knew what it entails to voted for as President of Ghana.

“If Ablakwa wants to be popular, he can use his teeth to trend. What has the President done to him? Does he go to North Tongu in a passenger bus because there is hardship in the world?” He queried.
