Population Census: No Need To Travel, You Can Be Counted Anywhere- Statistical Service

The Ghana Statical Service says, there is no need for persons to travel to their hometowns or other places in order for them to be counted.

The Head of Publicity for the Service revealed to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio/TV ‘The Privilege’ Morning Show that, the population and housing census would be conducted electronically thus digital census.

He said that, it would help the Statistical Service acquire the answers for the question that would be queried.

“It will speed up the data collection and the outcome of the census,” he added.

“Unlike the olden days which takes about one or more years to get the results, this will take three months to produce the provisional results,” he said.
