Political Experience Isn’t Like “Kaba” Or “Skirt”…Talk About Your Policies- Dr. Forkuo Challenges John Mahama

A renowned university lecturer, Dr. Solomon Kwarteng Forkuo, has challenged former President John Mahama to mention a single policy he has in his manifesto and stop hiding his policies from Ghanaians.

Dr. Solomon Kwarteng Forkuo a member of the Academic Patriot team, appealed to the former President to stop talking about having gathered experience noting that experience in ruling a country isn’t like making a dress style like “kaba” or “skirt”.

He however congratulated President Akufo-Addo for blazing the trail in 2016 as a presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party when he boldly talked about policies he would implement if given the mandate.

NPP members are proud of their leaders. They have leaders who can promise out of their manifesto so it was what spurred then candidate Akufo-Addo to say if he becomes President he would introduce free SHS”, he stressed on the Wontumi Morning show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.

Dr. Forkuo challenged Ghanaians to seek to know the policies of John Mahama when he comes to them for their votes noting that it is as if the former President knows that he can’t fulfil any of his policies so has decided to remain mute on the matter.

So if you a former President and you want to come back to power but he is unable to make a single promise because he knows he can’t fulfil his own promise, then where are your policies? You don’t have any policy, you are visionless but you claim you have experience. Experience isn’t like ‘kaba’ or skirt, experience isn’t a car.

But what you will use your experience to do- the end result of it is what makes the experience more meaningful. So if you are talking about experience, let us see what your experience is bringing on board”, he challenged former President John Mahama.
