Political Analyst Reveals Calamity That Nearly Landed NPP In Opposition
Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, a political analyst says one calamity that nearly took the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to opposition was the ‘online services’.
According to him, everything including recruitment of workers were done via online.
Participating on Wontumi Radio/TV’s Morning Show on Wednesday, Nana Oteatuoso bemoaned that, “if you are a genuine party member and you want to seek help for someone, you would be asked to apply it online.”
The NPP sympathizer stressed that, ” during the election day, they told us to go to the polling station and vote but didn’t ask us to vote through online.”
Nana Oteatuoso admonished that, if the NPP will heed to the complains of the grass root members, it will propel them the eight years jinx cycle.
Meanwhile, the Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng said that, he does not side with some people calling on the government to sack all the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), for ‘poor performance’.
“We cannot fire all the MMDCEs. We can name and shame those who performed abysmally rather than dismissing them.” He said
