(PICTURES) Ashanti Regional Minister Donates Modernized Hospital Beds To Health Facilities In Bosomtwe Constituency

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei- Mensah accompanied by the DCE of Bosomtwe Constituency, Lawyer Joseph Assuming have donated some 30 modernized hospital beds to three health facilities in the area.

The health facilities included Kuntanase Government Hospital, St Michael’s Catholic Hospital at Pramso and Jachie Health Centre.

Kuntanase Government Hospital being the District hospital secured 15 beds, St Micheal’s Catholic Hospital had 10 and Jachie Health Center acquired five.

In his address monitored by wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw, Simon Osei- Mensah said Bosomtwe Constituency has made him who he is today.

The former Member of Parliament for the area said if not for the people of the area who made him a legislator some time ago, President Nana Addo wouldn’t have recognised him.

He said the people have honoured him and he has to pay them back.

Simon Osei- Mensah emphasised that “even if two patients sleep on the bed and recover, God’s blessing will be conferred on him.

The District Chief Executive for the area, Hon Lawyer Joseph Assuming appealed to the health workers to make good use of the beds.

Richard Osei Amaniampong, Administrator at St Michael’s Catholic Hospital on behalf of the health workers expressed their profound appreciation to the Ashanti Regional Minister.

 

Osei Amaniampong said that they are overjoyed.

He pledged that they will ensure good usage of the beds.
