Death they say is inevitable but a life lived well is exemplary and leaves remarkable memory on earth.
So when death laid its icy hands on the late General Overseer of True Faith Church International, Snr. Apostle John Owusu Achiaw, it was received with a shock by many.
On Thursday, September 3, 2020, chunk of politicians, loved ones, family members, church members, leaders of churches and sympathizers gathered at Asuofua to observe the one week celebration of the revered servant of God.
The 64 year old late Snr. Apostle John Owusu Achiaw was a popular preacher on Wontumi TV and Radio.
The Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi and some NPP members took part in the one week observation.
Mrs Bawumia donated GHC 120, 000, assorted soft drinks and 200 nose masks to the bereaved family and church.
On behalf of Wontumi Communications and staff, Chairman Wontumi also donated GHC 1,000 at the solemn event.
The final funeral rites shall be held February,24th – 26th 2021 at the Heroes Park in Kumasi.
