PICTURES: Asenso – Boakye Supports Bantama Constituency With Three Astro Turf Projects To Augment Sports
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama Constituency, Hon Francis Asenso Boakye has once again extended his endless benevolence to the people of his constituency with the provision of three different astro turf projects.
The ‘Artificial Football Park’s with ancillary facilities’ are being constructed at the Lebanon Club, Kooko Ase School Park and the Bohyen MA School Park.
Inspecting the ongoing projects in his constituency over the weekend, Hon Asenso – Boakye expressed delight at the rate of work done so far saying,” “I am highly satisfied with the way the contractors are constructing the three Astro Turf projects in Bantama.”
He explained that Bantama has produced a lot of sports talents for the country including football giants such as former Black Stars captain Akwasi Appiah, former FC Twente star, Prince Opoku Polley and Sarfo Gyamfi of Asante Kotoko fame.
Hon. Asenso – Boakye was hopeful that upon completion of the three projects, it will contribute to the production of football stars in the country.
He praised the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), GNPC and the Zongo Development Fund for sponsoring the three projects.
