The George Fox University, one of the oldest universities in the United State of America (USA) has conferred Doctorate and International Honorary Fellowship Award to Nana Agyenim Boateng, the Chief of Amoaman in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti region.

Nana Agyenim Boateng I ,Chief of Amoaman, a fast growing community in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District in the Ashanti Region was decorated at the colorful and well attended ceremony held at the Business School of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) auditorium today, Wednesday 10th November,2021.

Nana Agyenim Boateng I who doubles as the Managing Director of Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) in Ghana and a member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) was highly praised for impacting his community and society at large.

A letter of notice addressed to Nana Agyenim Boateng I ahead of the Honorary Award, stated that, “the Governing Council at George Fox University in Newberg OR, USA, has the pleasure of informing him , that the joint committee of the faculty of the College of Physical Therapy has approved the recommendation proposed by Rectitude International Mission and its affiliate with the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce, and Administration (BORGCA) to receive an Honorary Fellowship Doctor of Philosophy in Executive Leadership and Public Service [Honoris Causa].”

In reference to the letter sent by the Sovereign Council of Rectitude International Mission and World Diplomatic Federation distinguished Nana Amoamanhene of his outstanding leadership achievements, commitment, integrity, and dedication to hard-work; hence to be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree.

“We wish to recognize you, of your outstanding achievements, commitment, dedication to hard-work; hence to be conferred with an Honorary Fellowship.

On behalf of the university, I congratulate you on your achievements for this award and look forward to presenting you with this honorary title and award,”it stated.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Nana Agyenim Boateng thanked the Almighty God for how far he has brought him.

He also thanked the King of Asante, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II who he described as a role model.

The highly delighted Chief expresses his profound gratitude to George Fox University for the honor done him.

He also thanked all well-wishers, family members, staff of CBC among others for their unflinching support.
