Hardworking Ashanti regional Chairman, Chairman Wontumi appears to have endorsed the selection of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
When it comes to the day to day affairs of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi is a colossus and openly endorsing Dr. Bawumia’s choice for the 2024 elections, is regarded as a huge weight.
In a photo available to Wontumionline.com, Chairman Wontumi together with Dr. Bawumia and Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo look elated and united for the task ahead.
With an official announcement expected in the coming days, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Dr Opoku Prempeh, is set to be named presidential running mate by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The NPP flagbearer is said to have presented NAPO as his running mate during a meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
