The Bono regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has produced document to prove how the administration of former President Mahama lavishly sponsored the expensive lifestyle of former first lady, Lordina Mahama.
The erstwhile Mahama government approved and issued an amount of Eighty-Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty-Eight US Dollars, Seventy-Four Cents (US$82,558.74) to former first lady Lordina Mahama to attend the 3rd Annual Medshare Gala in the United States of America.
Kwame Baffoe who was analyzing the official document on Wontumi TV stated that the travel made no economic sense and brought nothing positive to the Ghanaian taxpayer.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Abronye challenged the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Okudzeto Ablakwa, to speak up and respond to how the US$82,558.74 handed over to Lordina Mahama created jobs for the unemployed in Ghana.

“Ablakwa should come out and tell Ghanaians the jobs the NDC created for youth, before that heavy amount was handed over to her”, Abronye challenged.
In comparing the activities of former first lady Lordina Mahama to current first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Abronye stated that the later “is rather providing incubators for the hospitals and building maternity blocks. She teamed up with her husband to work on the hospital the Acheampong government left behind.”
