PFJ: Ghana Will Not Experience Food Shortage In 2022- Agric Ministry
The Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, has rubbished claims that there would be a shortage of food in 2022.
According to him, the Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) program has been managed effectively and that there will be abundant food come next year.
In an interview on Wontumi Radio Morning Show, Hon. Frimpong Addo indicated that the PFJ saboteurs anticipated food shortage in 2018 but were ashamed.
Ogunde as the Deputy Agric Minister is fondly called said the volume of rains will help the food crops grow sufficiently.
He reiterated that Ghana will not export food abroad until the buffer stock companies are filled with adequate foods.
