Pass Your Exam Well, Free SHS Awaits You- Techiman North DCE To BECE Candidates

As part of the quest to ensure that the BECE candidates in Techiman North District who are writing their first ever external exam can  pass well, office of the DCE, Hon. Peter Mensah for the area in collaboration with the office of the Member of Parliament Hon. Martin Oti Gyarko organized and sponsored two separate mock exams for these students in preparation for the final exams.

Techiman North District presented a total of 1,313 candidates made up of 659 boys and 654 girls for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examinations.

“Coupled with governments efforts at ensuring all Ghanaian children are given the best of tuition, We are optimistic that at least, 90% of these students would have the needed grades to earn them entries into the Senior High school level.” Hon Mensah said

The Techiman North DCE  said that it is good to note however that government’s flagship Free SHS policy awaits these children and parents who are unable to afford higher costs of funding the education of their wards can now have a huge sigh of relief.

“Together with the District Education Service, we also ensured that all COVID-19 protocols are been strictly adhered to and enough Personal Protective Equipments were provided to prevent our candidates from the coronavirus disease.”

Once again, I wish to congratulate them all and hope and pray that they come out with the best of grades.
