Parents Commend Gov’t On COVID-19 Protocols In Schools

A section of parents in the Kumasi Metropolis have commended the government for the COVID-19 protocols put in place as children are back in school after the long closure of schools amidst the outbreak of the pandemic.

The parents revealed that they welcomed President Akufo-Addo’s announcement with delight that the students were returning to school.

But speaking with Nana Owusu Achiaw, when observing My First Day at School in Kumasi, the parents said they have noticed that, the safety protocols are in order in the schools.

They appealed to the government to recruit more teachers so they can protect the children.

However, the parents revealed that, the long closure of schools posed some difficulties on them.

“The amount of money our children spent in a day during the closure of schools were unbearable so we are happy they are back in school.” They said.
