Pan African Heroes Foundation To Honor Samuel Sarpong For Exemplary Leadership

The Confederation of Government Assessment Institute (COGAI) in partnership with the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce and Administration (BORGCA) as well as the select committee of the Pan African Awards would on the 26th Day of September confer an honorary award on Dr Samuel Sarpong, former Ashanti and Central Regional Minister.

The award would be in recognition of the selfless leadership rendered by the former Regional Minister and KMA boss when he held these positions as well as many others.

In a letter available to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper and signed by the Executive Director, Elvis Daniels-Botchway, the Pan African Heroes Foundation stated that Dr Sarpong qualifies for the award because of the significant productive contribution he had made to the economy and socio-communal development of Ghana.

The statement further noted that the profound dedication, commitment and relentless devotion to be fair, free and firm in balanced decision making to direct control and manage governance affairs have earned the former Regional Minister the honor.

‘’You are by this invitation, being acknowledged for your diversity in nation building and as one of the potential vital pillars or forerunners in the development of democracy and governance in Ghana and Africa at large’’, the letter to Dr Samuel Sarpong stated.

WORK ETHIC:

The group noted that Dr Sarpong had during his role as regional minister at both Ashanti and Central Regions demonstrated competence beyond compare in administration.

His work ethic and work rate, the group mentioned was exemplary since that affected persons he worked with at both regions he was posted to.

A champion of discipline and avowed warrior against illegal mining, the Pan African group noted that Dr Sarpong cannot be equaled in the fields he was being acknowledged for.

The group stated that background checks on the former Juaben Secondary School Physical Education (PE) instructor, Serious Fraud Office Boss (SFO) in Ashanti and Former Managing Director, State Housing Company Limited has proven to be a taintless character and a man of quality service.

NIGHT OF AWARDS:

With the organizers envisaging an auspicious occasion where other persons of the caliber of Dr Sarpong would be awarded despite the COVID-19 outbreak, measures have been put in place to safeguard participants.

The organizers have promised to both disinfect the place and also maintain the required social distance etiquette.

Award recipients have also been notified to bring their clinical nose masks as well as hand sanitizers.

The organizers also promise to procure and fix a Bacteriostatic Atomization Intelligent Door (BAID Device) at the entrance of the event hall to efficiently screen all attendants.
