Over 15 Million Ghanaians Grab Ghana Card Ahead Of Sim Re-registration Exercise
17 million Ghanaians have registered for the Ghana Card and 15 million people out of the total figure have secured the cards ahead of the sim re-registration exercise which will take effect in October.
The Head of Corporate Affairs for the National Identification Authority (NIA), Abdul Ganiyu Abudu disclosed this on Wontumi Radio Morning Show.
He said those who have secured the cards are Ghanaians from 15 years and above.
According to Ganiyu Abudu, persons who have not secured their cards will have the opportunity for collection when the NIA reopen offices in the Districts across the country in October.
He said new applicants can go to Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) offices for free registration.
