Out Of Pain, Chief Imam Cried And Cursed John Mahama- Chairman Wontumi Reveals

Out of pain, the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin Haroun wept on the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. John Dramani Mahama for taking the Muslim community for granted, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has revealed.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, stated that the Chief Imam was not happy about the policies and plans the NDC has for his people and has made it clearer the vision of President Akufo-Addo, would rather bring improvement to his people.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, has been widely condemned for revealing that if voted for, he would build more mortuaries for the Muslim communities.

He pledged in an interview on minor tv outlet that the next (NDC) administration will build more mortuaries in the Zongo communities.

According to him, this forms part of the numerous intervention programmes which the NDC plans to put in place to develop Zongos and deprived communities when he takes over the governance of this nation in 2021.

In his view, the mortuaries will help preserve the dead in Zongo areas.

But Mr. Antwi-Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi revealed that “Yesterday, when the Chief Imam spoke, he cried. He was crying because of what John Mahama thinks about the Zongos and Muslim communities. For him to cry, it represents a curse on John Mahama. It is like when your own parent weep over you for treating them bad”.

Sheik Abdul Mumin Haroun lately endorsed President Akufo-Addo’s re-election bid for the Presidency and prayed for the loyalty of the Muslim community to reward him with another term in office, saying his humility is exceptional.

His stance on who should been voted for, has angered some members of the NDC who have come out boldly to insult him.
