Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu, Dr John Kumah

The member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Finance, Dr John Ampontuah Kumah has expressed hope that Ghana’s economy will bounce back.

Dr Kumah gave the assurance during a get-together where he hosted roughly 1,000 widows in the Ejisu Municipal of the Ashanti Region. The Deputy Minister said that the country’s economy is showing huge improvement because of the ongoing recovery program.

He however stated that while the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program gives transient help, it’s anything but an extremely durable answer for the country’s economic difficulties.

Dr. Kumah pointed out that the NPP government hopes to go past the IMF program targets and influence the effortlessness time frame to cultivate the development of a more steady economy.

To accomplish this, the MP referenced that underlying changes and different mediations will be executed to cut down the country’s debt to a maintainable level and guarantee fiscal sustainability.

As a component of the occasion organised by him in collaboration with Ejisu Young Patriot, he presented 1,000 wax prints to the widows as part of his annual programme of feasting with them.

This, he said is just one of the many interventions he has scheduled for his constituents as part of efforts to render humanitarian support to the aged and vulnerable.
