OMESS Student Murder: 3 Arrested, 3 On The Run
The Bekwai Divisional Police Command has brought to book three suspects in connection with the alleged murder of the Oppong Memorial SHS final year student.
The three persons are Solomon Nimako, a 17-year-old JHS 3 student, Richard Nkrumah, a 15-year-old JHS 2 student and 16-year-old Albert Opoku, a final year JHS student.
The Bekwai Divisional Police Commander, DSP Teddy Damptay Brown in an interview said the police arrested the suspects’ from their hideouts.
He said the three other suspects are currently on the run.
They have been identified as Kofi Nti, Ramsay Okyere and Kofi Atta.

Richard Kofi Appiah, a Final year student of the Oppong Memorial Senior High School (OMESS) at Kokofu near Bekwai of the Ashanti Region was stabbed to death during a scuffle by a group of young men last Saturday night.
During the scuffle, one of his attackers used a broken bottle to pierce his loins.
He bled profusely, collapsed and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
