The Member of Parliament for Mampong Constituency, Hon. Kwaku Ampratum-Sarpong has accused Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa of telling lies more than the person who invented lies into the world.
In the wake of passport fees hike, Hon Ampratum-Sarpong, revealed that leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) were consulted in parliament before the decision was taken.
Presently, a 48-page booklet costs GH¢800, with expedited 32-page applications at GH¢700. Standard 32-page booklets are priced at GH¢500, while the 48-page variant stands at GH¢644.
However, Hon Ampratum-Sarpong said the previous leadership of the minority in parliament led by Hon. Muntaka and Hon. Haruna Iddrissu supported the decision to increase the price of passport.
He was amazed Hon. Ablakwa is acting differently now when he was part of the group that endorsed the decision.
“He has become a lone ranger and is making all the noise…he lies more than the person who invented lies into the world”, he said of Ablakwa on the Wontumi Morning Show.
