The 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Nkwanta North constituency in the Oti Region, Benjamin Nador has filed to contest the upcoming Parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party in the Nkwanta North Constituency.
Speaking to Wontumi TV/Radio news after submitting his nomination forms on Thursday, August 10, 2023, Mr Ben Nador said “the records and data we had after the 2020 election indicated that our next election is possible for NPP. We’ve learnt our lessons and if I get the mandate to lead the party into the 2024 elections, the NDC MP would earlier than expected start packing his belongings from parliament”
Benjamin Nador, as an indigene of Nkwanta North, has been active in the Constituency for many years, even without any top appointment as a reward.
He is however, counting on the developmental works he lobbied for the constituency to convince voters to guarantee the NPP’s victory in the upcoming general elections.
He is, therefore calling on supporters of his contender to run a clean campaign devoid of divisive messages to ensure that the party surges to the 2024 elections with a united front.
“Delegates should vote for a winning and visionary candidate, a person who can turn the fortune of the NPP around in the Nkwanta North constituency” He pleaded.
He continued, “Don’t fight any member, let’s move with unity and win for the NPP. The campaign should be based on policies, records and competence comparisons between me and our government. I’ll work for development, empower the youth and women and introduce farmers to new methods of agriculture to improve yield.”
He also took a swipe at the NDC Member of Parliament for the area, Hon John Kwabena Oti Bless, stating that the lawmaker has failed to live up to the expectations of the constituents.
