Nurture Your Business Men As The NDC Did for their Own – Kennedy Agyapong Throws Challenge To NPP

Outspoken Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, has expressed deep regret that the NPP has so far failed to bring up a crop of high profile business people within its ranks to compete equally with their counterparts in the NDC.

“When the NDC was in power, they made sure that they provide all needed support for their big time businessmen like the popular Joshob to position themselves so well.” He noted.

Joshob, whose company is Joshob Construction Company Limited, has become synonymous with road construction in the country is currently executing all the major road contracts in all the regions.

“This should teach the NPP a lesson. The NDC has brought up their own so why can’t we do the same for our business men? On the scale of 50-50, we cannot match the NDC when it comes to money.” He again noted

Hon Agyapong expressed this concern when he appeared on the exclusive programme, Security Tips on Wontumi TV and Radio, hosted by the young brilliant expert in Diplomacy and security, Alhaji Irbard Ibrahim late night on Saturday.

According to Hon Agyapong, an up and coming Kumasi-based construction company like Cymain, has to be provided with all needed support to stand tall and be able to compete with the NDC’s big guys in the system.

The Assin Central MP emphasized that he is not making the suggestion out of envy but for the sake of fairness and also in the best interest of the NPP.”

A cording to him Cymain was a major donor to the NPP in the last election.

“He supported our campaign financially and he has to be supported too.” He pleaded.

Hon Agyapong continued that he was not making the suggestion or expressing the regret out of envy.

“I’ll always support genuine businessmen who have good intentions no matter their political affiliation but not the crooks.” He emphatically stated.
