NUGS Hoping UTAG, Universities Senior Staff Call Off Strike Immediately
The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has expressed hope that the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) and University Senior Staff will call off their strike immediately.
According to the NUGS Secretary for Women Development, Ohemaa Bediako, the Union is doing their best to resolve the issue.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, she hoped that the two bodies will call off the strike to enable the students to return to classroom by Thursday.
“The students are suffering from the strike action,” Ohemaa bemoaned.
The NUGS secretary said, she is anticipating that the government and the staff will eventually reach a compromise.
