The Chief Executive of Atebubu-Amantin Municipality, Hon. Edward Owusu has swerved the opposition NDC saying the NDC cannot grab the Parliamentary seat from the NPP.
According to him, the massive development the ruling NPP government has introduced in the area will help the party retain the seat.
“It was not easy grabbing the Parliamentary seat at opposition but now that we are in power there is no way NDC can win the seat from NPP.” Hon. Edward Owusu told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on “Election 2020”, a flagship programme on Wontumi Radio 101.3 and TV
He hinted that, about 64,000 electorates will exercise their franchise come December and hopefully, they will vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo and the current MP to continue their good works.
Touching on the unity among political parties in the area, the MCE for Atetebu-Amanten disclosed that, for some time past the people in the area were disunited due to political banter.
Hon. Edward Owusu stated that, he met the NDC executives and helped restore peace in the area.
