The New Patriotic Party (NPP) would cement its status in Parliament as majority as it is poised to retake some parliamentary seats they lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2024, Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey has predicted.

According to Mr. Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey who teaches Finance at the Kumasi Technical University, the losses NPP made in 2020 has become an eye opener to the party but quipped that the story is spurring the party to retake more seats in parliament in 2024.

Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey stated that in 2020 the party knew that it would lose certain seats but didn’t anticipate it would be “massive”.

“2020 was an eye opener” Mr. Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey said, adding that the NPP won’t play around again in 2024.
