NPP Will Be Strong And Formidable After Akufo-Adoo Era- Obiri Boahen
The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has stated that the party will be strong and formidable in the post-President Akufo-Addo era.
He said the NPP is a tradition with a fighting spirit.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen was participating in the State of Ghana show on Wontumi TV/Radio.
He revealed that the NPP then called the UP party demonstrated the fighting spirit during the Acheampong era in 1977-1978.
“If one traces history, he will notice that the UP is a party that is against oppressors’ rule,” Lawyer Obiri Boahen stated.
The NPP Deputy General Secretary emphasised that “the absence of Nana Akufo-Addo will never affect the fortunes of NPP.”
Lawyer Obiri Boahen reiterated that the NPP is the tradition that holds the key to Ghana’s development.
